Like life, subject to change.
- Never sacrifice comfort for quality; no style or trend is worth uncomfortable compression
- Clothing is ultimately a means to an end; it shouldn’t be fatiguing but effortless to think about & wear
- Variety is overvalued; buy less, not more. Not for the sake of being minimalist, but because you have preferences. If you buy five shirts, you’ll favor one, buy ten and you’ll favor two, and buy fifteen and you’ll still favor two
- There are two prices; the brand price, which is labor + materials + logistics + brand (?), and then there is your price: ROI. The value you get out of clothing is how you figure out how much to spend
- Don’t be afraid of high or low prices; a nice pair of sneakers or dress shoes can last you a lifetime, but socks won’t.
