Did Vs. Doing

A resume is a recap of what you have done in life, that exists only as true to you. It’s a useful mechanism for industrial societies, where more people apply to specific jobs than there are jobs available, and the resume then permits quick elimination according to given requirements.

Outside of the job market, for you as the individual, the resume is useless. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, you are no one and have done nothing. Do not get hung up on the things you accomplished. Focus instead on now. Build your resume every day, every moment, and be prepared to start over again the next day.
